Developed in collaboration with the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Venice, the Pavilion is structured in three sections. Materials and Metaphors of Disappearance investigates physical processes of dissolution through painting, sculpture, and installation; Suppressed Narratives and Unheard Voices reactivates marginalized histories through drawing, print, and unconventional media; The Reversal of Discovery rereads global history by overturning the Western point of view through collaborative printmaking practices.
