Drawing on his experience as a queer parent, Ei Arakawa-Nash weaves together performance, video, and playful, sentimental sculpture focused on life cycle. With over one hundred doll-objects filling the exhibition space, the artist explores concepts of family, identity, and diversity and reflects on relationships, care and affection through the symbols of grass evoking the garden and nature and moon evoking time and emotion.
