Brilant Milazimi’s project was chosen for its powerful pictorial language and its ability to translate emotional and political tensions into ambiguous, powerful images. Milazimi – one of the most promising voices of the new generation of Kosovar artists – explores themes of waiting, vulnerability, and suspension, reflecting both individual dimensions and broader geopolitical contexts. Known for his psychological landscapes hovering between threat and dream, the artist has created a 17-meter panoramic composition in which a line of figures cross a mountain landscape, evoking wait, vulnerability, and persistence.
