NABATELE

Anna Kamyshan has created an aerostatic installation rising up to twenty-five metres above the water, composed of a double-membrane structure filled with helium. Commissioned by the Montreal Jewish Museum, the project reinterprets the model of upper-floor Venetian synagogues, translating it into a floating architecture above Venice. This project invites to reflect on belonging, diaspora, and instability within a context marked by global conflicts.
