For the first time, the Peru Pavilion is entrusted to an Indigenous Shipibo-Konibo artist, whose practice focuses on the knowledge system and worldview of this Amazonian community. The exhibition path, permeated by the sounds of a shamanic ritual, reinterprets kené, the traditional Shipibo-Konibo drawing system, through painting, sculpture, and video. Within this multisensory device, kené functions as both a visual and conceptual structure that articulates relationships between human and non-human beings, offering a worldview based on the interconnection of all forms of life.
