The project weaves together themes such as femininity, existence, myth, and history, starting from the figure of Turandot and her Persian genealogy. The result is a group exhibition bringing together eleven women artists from Central Asia and the broader Eastern world, in a dialogue that goes through tradition and contemporaneity. Through video, installation, sculpture, painting, textile, and sound-based practices, the works compose a layered landscape where mythic narratives and present-day experiences overlap and rewrite one another.
