The troubled relationship between Medea and Lado, a young Georgian involved in illegal antiquities trafficking in Russia, is nearing its end. Their love is tainted by the constant threats of a life devoted to crime, leading the girl to move away to the heart of Putin’s St. Petersburg, where every day thousands of Georgians suffer from cruel deportation campaigns that no one, not even Lado, will be able to escape.
