The Deetz family returns to the house in Winter River, the setting of the first chapter of the story from 1988. Lydia has become a mother and is dealing with the troubled adolescence of her daughter Astrid. When the girl inadvertently discovers the infamous model of the town in the attic, she sets off a chain of events that will bring the terrifying spirit Beetlejuice back into the world of the living, still retaining all of his destructive and overwhelming power.

Tim Burton

Tim Burton, who received a Golden Lion for lifetime achievement at Venice in 2007, is one of the most significant directors in the history of cinema. His name is synonymous with unmistakable stylistic choices, characterized by a joyfully and proudly dark palette, in masterpieces such as Batman, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Big Fish, and Corpse Bride, all while maintaining a keen eye on new technologies.
