Gianmaria and his family all live in the same building: grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Everyone is busy preparing for his tenth birthday celebration. His father, recently discharged from the hospital after a year-long stay, is struggling with severe memory issues. His illness causes him to forget even the names of his loved ones. Gianmaria’s mother is left to face everything alone, with no one willing to help.
