Constel·lació Portabella retraces the life of the great director, producer, and screenwriter Pere Portabella, spanning the last seventy years of Spain’s political and cultural history, his homeland, and highlighting his political activism before, during, and after the Franco regime.
The film is directed by Claudio Zulian, an Italian director, screenwriter, artist, and producer based in Spain, who has been awarded at international festivals for works such as The Shifting City (2010) and Born (2014). Zulian is also a renowned artist; his video installations have been featured in exhibitions and retrospectives in international art centers and museums.
