Four actors play Salvador Dalí, the iconic surrealist artist.
A French journalist is working on a documentary on Salvador Dalí, played by four different actors. His work won’t be completed, though. Dupieux’s film is an ironic parable on the narcissism of great artists.

Quentin Dupieux

Born in Paris in 1974, Quentin Dupieux is a director and musical producer. He debuted with featurette Nonfilm of 2022, an example his taste for the absurd and the nonsensical, which also appears in Steak (2007) and Rubber (2010), the latter presented at Cannes’ Semaine de la Critique. In 2012, he participated in the Turin Film Festival with feature film Wrong. Dupieux will be at Cannes again in the Quinzaine des réalisateurs section with Deerskin in 2019, at the Venice Film Festival with Mandibles in 2020, at the Berlinale with Incredible but true in 2022, and again at Cannes in the Un Certain Regard section with Smoking Causes Coughing.
