Right after being released from prison, a boxer is back on the ring together with his worries, memories, and fear. In his head, the images of a hard-knock life and the hope that boxing may be his way to redemption. This is the moment when the present can heal past wounds as scars show up on his skin and mind.
Famous for his performance as Richard Harrow in HBO series Boardwalk Empire, British actor Jack Huston debuts as a director with Day of the Fight. Huston is also known as one of the protagonists in FX anthology series Fargo (2020) and for his role in 2013 movie American Hustle opposite Jennifer Lawrence, Christian Bale, and Bradley Cooper.
