(1978, Italy, 107')
Post-1968 Italian youth is analyzed by Nanni Moretti in a film which, in its combination of drama and irony, was able to reflect a generation. Ecce Bombo (1978) returns to the big screen as you’ve never seen it before, in a restored version that brings the frame back to its original colors and reproduces the shot in the dimensions initially decided by the director, which at the time were partly modified in the adaptation for distribution in theaters, so the film was “inflated” from 16 to 35mm.
