In Denmark it seems like any other summer, but a natural disaster is looming over the country: the rising water level can no longer be ignored and the government decides to evacuate all the inhabitants. In just a few episodes, Vinterberg’s tragic series tells us the stories of families who, forced to leave their homes and loved ones, are catapulted into a state of chaos and helplessness.
