(2025, USA, Ireland, France, 110')
A triptych exploration of relationships between adult children, their distant parents, and siblings. Told in the form of a comedy, the narration is free from judgment, maintaining objectivity while still engaging the viewer emotionally. Set in the United States, Dublin, and Paris, these present-day tales, tinged with subtle melancholy, reflect much about ourselves, suspended between past and future.
Jim Jarmusch, one of the leading independent directors on the international scene, made history at the Venice Film Festival in 2003 with Coffee and Cigarettes, a project begun in 1986. Also from 1986 is Down by Law, starring Tom Waits and Roberto Benigni, which earned Jarmusch his first Palme d’Or nomination at Cannes. In 2005, he won the Grand Prix with Broken Flowers, starring an amazing Bill Murray.
