Vera has been looking for her son for years. She was very young when she had him, and had him placed for adoption. Her research doesn’t seem to be leading anywhere until she meets Cora, a piano teacher who spent her life raising her adopted son, Egoz, who is now almost eighteen. On the banks of the Douro River, Portugal, the fatal meeting of three characters turns what looked like a drama into a noir thriller.
