Having finally graduated high school, five Oregonian teenagers can’t wait for their next adventure: they’re set out to reach the Pacific coast, 500 miles away, aboard their battered van. This punk-rock Wizard of Oz-like story sees the teenagers sucked into an impromptu odyssey. They are forgotten in a forgotten city, but they’re free, they’re together, and they’re looking forward to a future that they will be able to write themselves.
