The true story of Gary Johnson, as told by the American press in the early 2000. A police officer working with the local DA office, Johnson infiltrated a crime syndicate and worked with law enforcement to solve murder cases. His life and career are unexpectedly tested on his upcoming job as security detail for a woman. Their meeting will upend any certainty Gary thought he had.
Texan, born 1960, Richard Linklater directed the Before Trilogy starring Ethan Hawke and Julie Delply. Linklater wrote and directed Boyhood of 2014, which consecrated him as one of the best living international filmmakers. Boyhood had been twelve years in the making and earned its author a Silver Bear for Best Direction at Berlin and an Academy Award for Best Actress for co-protagonist Patricia Arquette.
