I PLANT MY HAND IN THE GARDEN

Inspired by the two directors’ own experiences, the film follows Hoda, a pregnant Iranian refugee, and Boris, a queer man of Serbian origin, who decide to marry and raise the child together in Berlin. As they build a family on their own terms, bureaucracy, family expectations and shifting identities test their bond, questioning the very meaning of love and parenthood.
