Israel Palestina på Svensk TV 1958-1989
by Göran Hugo Olsson

(2024, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, 202')

A unique and unprecedented perspective on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict comes from Göran Hugo Olsson, who recovered and reworked footage and audio recordings from the years ’58-’89 that had long been buried in the archives of SVT (Swedish public television). An external and somewhat more neutral point of view is that of the Swedish journalists, of which the director does not limit himself to showing archive footage, but contextualizes and analyzes them, offering the public the opportunity to immerse themselves in a crucial historical period and to better understand the roots of the conflict.
