Fred Riedel made Hello Hello Hello: Lee Ranaldo, Electric Trim (2017), Nobody Knows (2012), and No Compromise When It’s Time to Die (2022). Using archive footage and interviews, he shows and tells the story of his teacher, Ken Jacobs. A pioneer and emblem of avant-garde American Cinema and found footage enthusiast, Jacobs (Born 1933) authored milestones of experimental meta-cinema like Tom, Tom, the Piper’s Son (1969) and the mind-bending Star Spangled to Death (1956-60/2003-04).
