Marta and Guido, a separated couple in their forties, turn to the court to obtain the so-called “judicial” ruling, which will finally determine the days their eight-year-old only son must spend with one parent or the other. In this intense legal drama, the film reconstructs, through meticulous evaluations – during which the protagonists are called to tell and reveal themselves—a grueling struggle that pushes them to the limits of endurance. A painful clash that spares no one and declares no winners: not even little Andrea will be excluded.
