Fujino, outgoing and confident in her talent, publishes manga in the school newspaper. Kyomoto’s drawings, created by a reclusive classmate who does not attend lessons, soon turn pride into rivalry. Their encounter, however, gives rise to a friendship and creative partnership that spans thirteen years, from childhood to adulthood. Amid ambitions, distance and painful turns, drawing becomes the language of their bond. The film is a live-action adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga of the same name.
