(2023, Italia, Svizzera, 175')
Taken from the novel Il Seminatore by Mario Cavatore, the film tells the true story of Lubo Moser, a young Jenisch (Gypsy) and street artist in Switzerland in the 1930s. Young, strong, and cheerful, Lubo loves his family, his wife Mirana and their three children, and he is proud of the life he leads, free to travel with his wagon and play the accordion in street performances. However, war is on the horizon, and in 1939 Lubo is called to serve in the Swiss army to defend the border threatened by the Germans. While on the front, he receives the news that his children have been taken by the government because they belong to a nomadic family, following the provisions of a national reeducation program. A new Lubo, tough and unyielding, devises a revenge plan with unexpected consequences.
