(2023, USA, 129')

The life and art journey of Leonard Bernstein, legendary orchestra conductor and a giant of contemporary music. His charisma and passionate love for music made the history of Broadway, jazz, and symphony, and is only equal to that for his beloved wife of almost thirty years, Costa Rican actress and activist Felicia Montealegre. An homage to an essential figure in the redefinition of the relationship between audience and classical music worldwide.

Bradley Cooper

American filmmaker Bradley Cooper is one of the most recognizable stars in the business. His directorial debut took place in 2018 with a remake of A Star Is Born, a world sensation that saw Cooper star together with Lady Gaga. The film had been presented out of competition at the VFF. Bradley Cooper was nominated for an Academy Award in 2012 for his performance opposite Jennifer Lawrence in Silver Linings Playbook, again as a producer for Todd Phillips’ Joker in 2019, and as protagonist in a lead role for Guillermo del Toro’s Nightmare Alley.
