The director of Leaving Las Vegas, Timecode, and Cold Creek Manor now takes us behind the scenes of Megalopolis, Francis Ford Coppola’s controversial epic and lifelong dream. A project the maestro first began sketching out in 1978, it finally came to life in 2022, self-financed with an estimated budget of around 120 million dollars. The documentary traces Coppola’s creative process and the production challenges he had to overcome.
