Mona’s life flows peacefully, but when her son Joël confesses his relationship with Océane, a fellow member of the community for people with disabilities, and reveals that a baby is on the way, her tranquility is completely shattered. This forces Mona to confront decisions she never imagined having to make at this stage of her life.
After starting her career as a theater and film actress, Anne-Sophie Bailly decided in 2017 to enroll at La Fémis, the French state film school. Her films focus on themes of motherhood, parenthood, and generational transmission, and they have garnered several awards in France and the United States.
