The documentary reconstructs the murder of Javier Chocobar, leader of the Diaguita indigenous community, killed in 2009 in Tucumán province by white men seeking to seize indigenous lands for mining. Through footage of the crime, testimonies, and the trial, the film reveals a wound rooted in colonial history that still bleeds today.
Shot across Latin America, Nuestra Tierra weaves memory and contemporary struggles, exposing a system that perpetuates ancient injustices in new forms.
