The inhabitants of a nomadic village are about to become full owners of their land, with the granting of legal titles in their names. Thirty-eight-year-old Star is unable to rejoice at the event, unable to conclusively prove the family ties that would grant her these rights, being unmarried and the daughter of unknown parents. Vincho Nchogu, the film’s director, began her career with documentaries and short films, of which she also occasionally produces. She is also known for The Resurrection, which premiered at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.
