A story of friendship and rebellion against the system. Zoé and Volta have known each other since childhood. They decide to leave their hometown and go to college in Prishtina, the capital city of Kosovo. The two openhearted dreamers befriend a group of rebels, which will make them decide to change something in their relationship.
Luàna Bajrami, born in Kosovo in 2001, is an actress and director who has been living in France since age seven. She started acting very young in TV roles. In 2019, her performance in Céline Sciamma’s Portrait of a Lady on Fire earned her a nomination at the Césars for best upcoming female talent. Bajrami debuted as a filmmaker in 2021 with The Hill Where Lionesses Roar, presented at the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs in Cannes. She also worked at Happening by Audrey Diwan, 2021 Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival.
