In October 2022, during a recording session, Italian rocker Piero Pelù fainted due to an acoustic shock caused by a headphone switch error. The incident caused permanent damage to his auditory nerve, leading to the cancellation of a planned tour and the risk of ending his live music career. The film shows how this event became a forced opportunity for Pelù to pause, rediscover himself, and regenerate through a deep dive into his inner world: family, freedom, friends (including his band Litfiba), travel, and music.
Francesco Fei made his mark directing music videos for top Italian artists like Franco Battiato, Bluvertigo, and Carmen Consoli. His 2019 documentary Dentro Caravaggio was nominated for a Nastro d’Argento, and in 2024 he presented Pellizza pittore da Volpedo at the Rome Film Festival, released earlier this year.
