With this debut film, Carolina Pavone tells the challenging journey of finding one’s place in the world through the story of an unexpected connection. Caterina is twenty years old, and her greatest desire is to become a musician, but she is paralyzed by insecurity and fear. Over the summer, she meets Mia, a famous French singer, with whom she forms an ambiguous, at times even dangerous, relationship that nonetheless helps the protagonist feel ‘almost at home.’
