( 1929 )

One of the milestones of documentary and avant-garde cinema, defined as a “cine-poem”, the short film was screened on the closing night of the first 1932 Film Festival (21 August). An abstract, lyrical and impressionistic portrait of a city in the rain that uses experimental narrative techniques, which through the montage creates a perspective of synthesis, while detailing the minute reality with its subtle variations.
