Inspired by Mario Bellatin’s novel of the same name, the film takes us to an unnamed city, where a beauty salon becomes a place of passage for outcasts suspended between life and death. Centred on the enigmatic figure of the Individual, a solitary presence who tends the space without explanation, Acevedo creates an experience poised between memory, reality and vision, reflecting on the fragility of existence and the fine line between beauty and death.
