Ancient local legends intertwine with the modernity of the 1990s around a small town nestled in the tranquility of the Himalayas. A woman, Barkha, finds herself questioning her loyalty to her husband at the front when her solitude is shattered by the arrival in the village of the mysterious Manik Guho. The film explores human vulnerability, a theme often explored by the director, a multiple award-winning director and the first Indian recipient of the Asian Cinema Fund. Saxena is also the founder of the production company Forest Flower Films.
