After presenting documentary GES-2 in 2021, Nastia Korkia returns to the Lido this summer. In her new film, summer becomes a brief interval, a “time capsule” preserving childhood innocence during wartime. In the Russian countryside, young Katya’s daily life with her grandparents seems untouched, yet slowly absorbs the silent poison of conflict. For Korkia, a Russian exile in Germany and co-director of Dreams about Putin, this film is not just personal awareness, but a hope that future generations will choose differently.
