Mona Fastvold (Oslo, 1986) is a Norwegian director and screenwriter. After her debut with The Sleepwalker (2014), she earned critical acclaim with The World to Come (in Competition at Venice in 2020). Together with her husband Brady Corbet, she co-wrote the screenplays for The Childhood of a Leader, Vox Lux, and The Brutalist. Her cinema explores desire, faith, and transformation, with a visionary and radical style.
