Tarlan is a dance teacher living in Iran. She has been a widow for many years and expects nothing more from life. When a friend of hers is murdered by her husband, an important government official, she finds herself fighting against a wall of silence erected by the very people who should be investigating the murder. Tarlan will have to decide whether to give in to strong political pressure or risk it all by revealing everything she knows.
Nader Saeivar, born in 1975 in Iran, is a director, screenwriter, and producer. Among his many projects, he collaborated with Jafar Panahi on the screenplay for Three Faces, which won the Prix du Scénario at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018.
