Jasmine has a husband who loves her, three beloved sons, and her own business – a hair salon on the main street of Torre Annunziata, near Naples. It seems like nothing is missing in her life, yet after her father’s death, she is haunted by a recurring dream of a blonde girl who runs up to her and throws her arms around her neck. The irrational desire to have a daughter begins to grow within her, pushing her to embark on a complex international adoption process, even at the risk of endangering her marriage and relationship with her sons. The second feature film by the director duo Cassigoli/Kauffman delves into the most irrational spaces of the human psyche to explore the power of desires and love. Nanni Moretti is among the producers.
