Individually, they are the Alain Delon and Paul Newman of our times – together they are dynamite! Fifteen years after the Coen brothers’ Burn After Reading, one of the most anticipated films of the festival reunites George Clooney and Brad Pitt, this time directed by Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts. In Wolfs, Clooney plays a professional fixer, a lone wolf hired by the high-society underworld to cover up a crime. However, when a second fixer (Pitt) enters the scene, the two are forced to work together.
Director, producer, screenwriter, and actor, Jon Watts made his film debut in 2014 with the horror movie Clown. In 2015, he directed Kevin Bacon in Cop Car (2015) and Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), the reboot of franchise Spider-Man produced by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures. He also directed the sequel Spider-Man: Far from Home in 2019 and was confirmed for the third episode of the saga in 2020.
