The colour in the works of Armodio Tamayo is well rendered, as are the clothes, carefully studied with an almost documentary interest. His training took place in La Paz, but he always remained linked to the artists of the South of the country. His work reveals a desire for realism and richness, especially in the portrait of the native Bolivian, which is the visual version of the literary work of his father, author of Creation of National Pedagogy.
