Born in Lebanon, she emigrated at the age of sixteen to Argentina, gaining enormous popularity throughout South America with her colourful paintings of flowers which beautifully evoke her free spirit and love of nature, and which earned her the affectionate nickname of “La pintora de flores”. Known for the quality of her artistic composition, the profusion of flowers in her work evokes an eternal spring through her wonderful use of vibrant, prismatic colours.
