In Claudia Andujar’s photography, creative work and activism coincide. Having moved to Brazil in the 70s, she uses photographic language to speak about and defend the Yanomami, one of the Amazon’s most important Amerindian populations, and the forest they have inhabited for centuries. In her works, images of human beings and fragments of nature merge in continuous juxtapositions with powerful visual and emotional impact.
