A multidisciplinary artist focusing on Afro-Brazilian stories and experiences, with particular attention to portraits. His work, which includes many paintings, drawings, videos, performances and sculptures, reflects her dedication to giving voice to black characters from Brazilian history who are often overlooked in figurative art. Paula uses fiction and fabulation to construct a process that gives a face to these characters, bringing to light their social, cultural, professional, political and religious experiences.
