Daniel Otero Torres’s drawing holds together the creative facets of sculpture, installations, ceramic work and pictorial practice, an approach the artist chose to tackle notions of resistance and revolution. Nature and global politics must learn to dialogue with one another through a language that does not necessarily coincide with that of capitalism, but begins from the spirit that the artist captures by focusing on images of collective demonstrations and celebrations as drivers of change.
