DANILO DI PRETE

DANILO DI PRETE

1911, Zambra, Italy
1985, São Paulo, Brazil

After early figurative work tackling intimist themes and his participation in the Second World War, he moved to Brazil and dedicated himself to graphics, adopting an abstract-geometric language, while in painting he experimented with a range of techniques and materials. He worked in kinetic art, creating works with aural and visual implementations, developing an informal material-based lexicon.
