G.A.S. FOUNDATION

Founded by Yinka Shonibare, the Guest Artist Space Foundation is an artist residency dedicated to international cultural exchange, operating between the city of Lagos and the rural context of Ijebu Ode. Central to its mission is the construction of infrastructure to support artistic practice based on the concrete possibility of working and experimenting across time, space and networks, and on the strengthening of transnational relationships.
