An artist of chiefly curricular education, his original research started several years after graduating and focused on traditional Bengali painting. The most apparent aspect of his research is the sheer abundance of pieces – over 20,000. They recount a celebration of his fatherland while promoting organicity to the artmaking process, starting from locally-sourced art supplies to the definition of the essence of Bengali cultural heritage.
