Photographer, editor, designer, graphic designer, muralist and all-round painter, Mohamed Melehi’s colourful psychedelic waves contributed to shaping the identity of post-colonial Arab artists, in the name of the democratization of an art that he considered too dependent on the patronage of foreign culture.
