NEDDA GUIDI

1923, Gubbio, Italy
2015, Rome, Italy

Nedda Guidi contributed significantly to both the formal and technical renewal of ceramic sculpture through continuous experimentation. The structural syntax of her works is essentially based around the repetition of geometric shapes in tightly rhythmical patterns. After the development of this personal code-module, her work from the 70s on focused on colour-forms obtained from natural oxidations.
